National Geographic Spotlight Asia

6–9 June, 2022, Jeju Island, South Korea

I was invited to join the National Geographic Spotlight Asia as a National Geographic explorer from Thailand to participate in workshops and training sessions on public speaking and photography. In this event, I met awesome new friends from around Asia-Pacific (12 countries!).

As part of the event, we explored many natural destinations on Juju Island such as Abu Oreum, Dungae coast, and Dongbaek Dongsan Ramsar wetland. The ecosystem in Juju Island is unique because this island was formed by a volcanic eruption about 2 million years ago. Scientists estimated that Juju Island hosts more than 9000 species of land and marine organisms.
